As a host of the FFA Member Leadership Series, you can expect flexible delivery options, a skilled facilitator team, and a rotating curriculum! The FFA Member Leadership Series will empower students with new knowledge and skills they need to be confident and capable leaders – both in their chapters and beyond.

5th to 8th-grade students will experience the Discovery Conference.

Session Themes:

  • The Compass of Leadership: 60 Minutes
    Students explore four key pillars—core values, support systems, future goals and challenges—that shape their personal leadership journey.
  • RISE Above: 60 Minutes
    Students are equipped with practical strategies for overcoming obstacles and building resilience through hands-on problem-solving and real-life examples.
  • Leadership 101: 60 Minutes
    Empower students to communicate by strengthening their speaking confidence, practicing positive body language and developing active listening skills.
  • Leading Loudly: 60 Minutes
    This session empowers students to communicate like leaders by strengthening their speaking confidence, practicing positive body language and developing active listening skills.
  • The 3 R’s of Teamwork: 60 Minutes
    Challenge students to strengthen their ability to work in teams by practicing being resourceful, reliable, and respectful—three traits essential to building trust and achieving shared goals.
  • Dynamic Decisions: 60 Minutes
    Empower students to reflect on how they spend their time, identify daily choices, and apply a step-by-step process to make thoughtful, intentional decisions that align with their goals.

7th to 10th-grade students will experience the Mission Conference.

Session Themes:

  • Connect: Students will be introduced to the theme of the conference and evaluate their role in helping others feel connected.
  • Why: Students will analyze why an effort to connect with others must be made and to whom that effort will be applied.
  • How: Students will discover tools and processes to cultivate healthy connections.
  • Unhealthy Connections: Students will categorize the connections in their lives and practice navigating unhealthy connections.
  • Influence: Students will examine the relationship between trust and influence.
  • Plan: Students will review the content from the previous sessions and leave motivated to create change.

Session 1 – Me, 60 minutes
Session 2 – Values, 60 minutes
Session 3 – Choices, 60 minutes
Session 4 – Strengths, 60 minutes
Session 5 – Confidence, 60 minutes
Session 6 – Mission, 60 minutes

11th to 12th-grade students will experience the Impact Conference.

Session Themes:

  • Identity: Students will be introduced to the theme of the conference and summarize their self-concept.
  • Goals: Students will use identity-based goal setting principles to determine who they want to become.
  • Habits: Students will use the habit loop to provide them actionable steps to accomplishing their identity-based goals.
  • Priorities: Students will use their identity goals to prioritize their time.
  • Balance: Students will evaluate how balanced their lives are using the wheel of life.
  • Closing: Students will provide feedback via surveys and reflect on their experience at the Impact conference.

Session 3 – Strengths, 60 minutes
Session 4 – Innovation, 60 minutes
Session 5 – Inspiration, 60 minutes
Session 6 – Change, 60 minutes
